Abstract

Based on the great demand of heating products in winter and the disadvantages of the existing products in the market,such as slow heating and uncontrollable temperature,a new flexible composite thermoelectric heating patch based on Peltier effect is developed in this paper and the performance of the heating patch is tested.The results show that the Seebeck coefficient,thermal conductivity coefficient and average resistance are 92 μV/K,0.224 W/(m⋅K),38.58 Ω respectively.The highest temperature at the hot end can reach 45.5℃when a current of 0.3 A is applied to skin and 56.3℃when a current of 0.4 A is applied to clothing.Compared with the traditional warmer patch,the time for heating the heating patch to reach the highest temperature is significantly shortened and the duration of constant temperature use is also increased by a large margin.Additionally,it can be used repeatedly.
