Leg bone development,calcium and phosphorus metabolism of 3 layer breeds in 10~18 weeks of age

Abstract
The purpose of this experiment was to compare the metabolism of serum calcium and phosphorus in Shendan No.6 green shell laying hens,Suqin No.6 laying hens,and Hailan brown laying hens at 10-18 weeks of age,and to provide a theoretical basis for early feeding management and nutritional regulation of self-cultivated laying hens and high-yield laying hens.The 10-week-old commercial chickens of three varieties of laying hens were fed until 18 weeks of age.Eight hens were randomly selected from each group every week for blood collection.The leg bone length,weight,and serum calcium and phosphorus contents were measured,and the difference analysis and correlation analysis were carried out.The results showed that compared with 10-week-old,the leg bone length and weight of Shendan 6 green shell laying hens and Hy-Line Brown laying hens at 18 weeks old were significantly increased(P<0.05).The length and weight of the leg bone at all weeks of age showed that Hy-Line brown laying hens were significantly longer than Shendan 6 green shell laying hens and Suqin 6 laying hens(P<0.05).The blood calcium content of the three chicken breeds increased significantly(P<0.05),and the blood phosphorus content decreased significantly(P<0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between leg bone length and leg bone weight(P<0.01),and there was no significant correlation between blood calcium content and leg bone traits(P>0.05).The blood phosphorus content of Shendan 6 green shell laying hens and Hy-Line brown laying hens was significantly or extremely significantly negatively correlated with leg bone length and weight(P<0.05),while the blood phosphorus content of Suqin 6 laying hens was only significantly negatively correlated with leg bone length(P<0.05).Comprehensive analysis showed that under the same level of calcium and phosphorus feeding conditions,the leg bone growth of Suqin No.6 laying hens was lagging;the leg bone growth of Shendan No.6 green shell laying hens and Hailan brown laying hens was faster,and the correlation between phosphorus metabolism and leg bone growth was higher.During 10-18 weeks of age,under the same calcium and phosphorus levels,the leg bones of Shendan No.6 green shell laying hens and Hailan brown laying hens grew and developed rapidly,and had a high correlation with phosphorus metabolism.关键词
