温脾益神汤联合温针灸对阿尔茨海默病患者氧化应激及炎症指标的影响
Effect of Wenpi Yishen Decoction Combined with Warm Acupuncture and Moxibustion on Oxidative Stress and Inflammatory Markers in Patients with Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of Wenpi Yishen Decoction combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion on oxidative stress and inflammatory markers in patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods:A total of 120 patients with AD who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with donepezil hydrochloride tablets orally,while the observation group received the same treatment plus Wenpi Yishen Decoction combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion.Both groups were treated for 3 months.The primary and secondary traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptoms and syndromes scores,as well as the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive Subscale(ADAS-cog)and Revised Hasegawa's Dementia Scale(HDS-R),were used to assess the cognitive function and dementia level before and after treatment.The levels of serum β-amyloid protein(Aβ),tau protein(Tau),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),homocysteine(Hcy),catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD),and malondialdehyde(MDA)were measured.Clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total clinical effective rate in the control group was 71.67%(43/60),while the total clinical effective rate in the observation group was 91.67%(55/60),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Compared with pre-treatment,both groups showed a significant decrease in the primary and secondary TCM symptoms and syndromes scores,ADAS-cog scores,Aβ,Tau,TNF-α,IL-6,Hcy,and MDA levels(P<0.05),while scores of the MMSE and HDS-R,as well as levels of CAT and SOD,increased significantly compared with baseline(P<0.05).After treatment,the observation group showed lower TCM symptoms,ADAS-cog scores,Aβ,Tau,TNF-α,IL-6,Hcy,and MDA levels,and higher in the scores of the MMSE and HDS-R,as well as levels of CAT and SOD compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Wenpi Yishen Decoction combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion shows good clinical efficacy in treating patients with AD,significantly improving cognitive function and dementia level,inhibiting inflammation,and reducing oxidative stress,with good safety.关键词
