益气托毒法治疗脾虚夹湿型中重度痤疮
The Method of Tonifying Qi to Expel Toxins in Treatment of Moderate-Severe Acne with Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To explore the efficacy of the self-designed Huangqi Fuling Baizhu Decoction based on the method of tonifying qi to expel toxins in the treatment of patients of moderate-severe acne with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome,as well as its influence on the skin's physiological state,immune function and intestinal flora.Methods:Patients of moderate-severe acne with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome in Anyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the control group(54 patients)and the combination group(55 patients)by the random number table.The control group was treated with minocycline hydrochloride capsules orally,while the combination group was treated with the self-formulated Huangqi Fuling Baizhu Decoction on the basis of the treatment of control group.The treatment course lasted 4 weeks in both groups.The TCM syndrome score,skin's physiological state,immune function and intestinal flora level of both groups were compared before and after treatment.The clinical efficacy and adverse reaction rate were compared,too.Result:After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,sebum content,and Transepidermal Water Loss(TEWL)and the levels of Enterococcus and Escherichia coli decreased(P<0.05),while skin moisture,T lymphocyte subsets(CD3+,CD8+),natural killer cells(NK),levels of Bifidobacterium,and Bifidobacterium/Escherichia coli(B/E)increased(P<0.05).The improvement of the combination group was better than the control group(P<0.01).The total clinical effective rate in the combination group was 92.73%(51/55),which was obviously higher than those in the control group 79.63%(43/54);The adverse reaction rate in the control group was 3.7%(2/54)and those in the combination group was 5.45%(3/55),with no statistically significant difference between them(P>0.05).Conclusion:The self-designed Huangqi Fuling Baizhu Decoction based on the method of tonifying qi to expel toxins can effectively enhance the immune function of patients of moderate-severe acne with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome,regulate the level of intestinal flora,promote the restoration of normalization of the skin's physiological state with a favorable safety profile.关键词
