Professor ZHENG Liang's Thoughts and Methods for Diagnosing and Treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis Based on the Theory of"Earth Achieves Smoothness Through Wood"

Abstract
Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)is a common chronic disease in the digestive system,and its pathogenesis remains unclear.Western medicine treatment for CAG has poor efficacy,while traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment has unique advantages for this disease and has achieved good clinical results.According to its symptoms,CAG can be classified into the categories of"epigastric pain"and"distention and fullness"in TCM.Based on the theory of"Earth Achieves Smoothness Through Wood",Professor Zheng Liang believes that the pathogenesis of CAG is mainly liver-wood stagnation and spleen-earth failure in transportation.The treatment should harmonize the liver and spleen,and restore the spleen and stomach's transportation and transformation functions and the ascending and descending of qi movement.The Shencao Mixture is often used clinically with significant therapeutic effect.关键词
