A Study on the Historical Facts of Wang Qian who was the Commander of Chishui-Wei
摘要
Abstract
During the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty,Wang Qian(王谦)who was the commander of Chishui-Wei(赤水卫),had his deeds recorded for posterity by the grand academician Qiu Jun(丘濬),who wrote the epitaph for Wang Qian's tomb.This tombstone holds significant historical value,providing rare historical materials for our understanding and research on the lives and military activities of the border garrison officers in middle and early Ming Dynasty,as well as the ethnic relations and urban development of that period.It also provides a typical sample for our study of the"localization"of military officer in the Ming Dynasty.关键词
