Reconstruction of Chinese materia medica:Nutgrass galingale rhizome
摘要
Abstract
Through investigation of ancient books and the sorting of modern research achievements of traditional Chinese medicine,combined with the understanding and application experience of famous experts and scholars in desciplinary fields such as traditional Chinese medicine clinical medicine and science of Chinese materia medica,it is concluded that nutgrass galingale rhizome mainly has the effects of dispersing stagnated liver qi for relieving qi stagnation,regulating qi-flowing and relieving middle-jiao stagnation,and regulating menstruation and relieving pain.The symptom targets are dysmenorrhea,irregular menstruation,epigastric pain,breast tenderness,and distending pain in hypochondrium.The biochemical indicator target is mammary gland hypeiplasia.Modern pharmacological studies have found that nutgrass galingale rhizome and its active components have analgesia,promoting gastrointestinal motility,antibacterial,antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and anti-anxiety effects.Nutgrass galingale rhizome is dry in nature,and bitter and warm in property.Its solitary,excessive or prolonged use may easily consume qi and damage blood.The commonly used clinical dosage is 6-15 g.关键词
