摘要

Abstract

Aiming at the problems that solvent-based water repellents are prone to cause environmental and health risks,and water-based water repellents generally have limited hydrophobic efficiency,insufficient breath-ability and wash resistance,in this paper,water-based polyurethane(WPU)was taken as the matrix and incor-porated hydrophobic fumed nano-silicon dioxide(SiO2)modified by silane coupling agent.By adjusting the ratio and mass fraction of nano-SiO2 with different particle sizes,and utilizing the chemical bonding effect between nano-SiO2 and WPU as well as the multi-scale stacking effect of nano-SiO2 with different particle sizes,an envi-ronmentally friendly waterproof functional finishing agent was successfully constructed.The results showed that the composite finishing agent significantly improved the comprehensive properties of cotton fabrics:the static con-tact angle increased to 142.7°,the water vapor transmission rate reached 2805.2 g/(m2·24 h),and the fabric tensile strength reached 400.5 N.Meanwhile,the wash resistance and mechanical durability of the cotton fabrics also improved.This waterproof modification strategy has the advantages of excellent performance,environmental friendliness and simple process,showing broad application prospects in the field of textile hydrophobic finishing.
