Abstract

By optimizing the synthesis process parameters such as reaction temperature of 75℃,reaction time of 4 h,monomer mass fraction of 30%,emulsifier mass fraction of 6%,and initiator mass fraction of 0.6%,the acrylate-based waterproof and oil-repellent finishing agent was polymerized via emulsion polymerization.The finishing agent exhibited excellent stability and demonstrated superior waterproof and oil-repellent performance on polyester fabrics,achieving a static water contact angle of 121° and preventing oil drop penetration within 30 s.For knitted shoe upper fabrics,a padding-and-baking process was adopted,silver ions were incorporated into the prepared emulsion,and the finishing process was optimized as follows:raw fabric sample of knitted upper →seven dips and seven rolls → a prepared 300 g/L fluorine-free finishing agent → immersion for 30 min → pre-baking at 70℃for 90 s → baking at 160℃for 3 min.The vertical pneumatic electric rolling mill was operated at 0.2 MPa pressure and a speed of 3 m/min.The treated knitted shoe upper achieved a waterproof level of 5 with a waterproof surface wetting time exceeding 300 s and antibacterial efficiency exceeding 99%.
