Abstract
A radio frequency(RF)modulation-demodulation based fiber optic ring interferometer(FORI)sensing technique is proposed for dual-parameter high-precision crosstalk-free sensing.At low modulation frequencies,FORI is insensitive to temperature changes,while ex-hibiting flexible adjustable sensitivity to loss with a linear transmittance sensitivity of 0.282 rad.By selecting specific modulation frequen-cies,linear or maximum sensitivity of loss can be achieved.At high modulation frequencies,through utilizing the cumulative effect of fre-quency shift,the temperature sensing is realized by tracking the frequency of zero phase shift point,with the sensitivity of-17.47 kHz/℃.Experimental results show that this method successfully achieves the simultaneous measurement of transmittance and temperature without crosstalk.This RF modulation-demodulation based FORI sensing technique demonstrates potential applications in multi-parameter sensing fields,providing new ideas for the development of high-precision,multi-functional fiber optic sensing systems.关键词
