A review of development of hybrid power driven ships integrated with green energy

Abstract
This paper focuses on integrating hybrid propulsion systems with green energy technologies,annalyzing the configuration characteristics of series,parallel,and compound hybrid systems and the synergistic mechanisms of their key components.Considering the development trends of hybrid ship energy systems,it discusses the application potential and technical pathways of new energy technologies such as solar,wind,and hydrogen energy,as well as alternative fuels like liquefied natural gas(LNG),methanol,and ammonia in marine propulsion systems.The paper systematically identifies core challenges in hybrid vessels,including system integration,energy management,operational adaptability,economic viability,and regulatory support.The study indicates that green energy integration remains constrained by factors such as low energy density,high costs,and complex system architecture.To accelerate the sustainable transformation toward green shipping,efforts must focus on:accelerating the intelligent upgrade of energy management systems;advancing high-efficiency energy storage and power dispatch technologies;and establishing comprehensive policy incentives and standardization frameworks.关键词
