Abstract
This study systematically examines vibration transmission mechanisms of magnetic couplings in centrifugal pump systems integrated with asynchronous motors and centrifugal pumps.A series of controlled experiments were performed on a 45 kW industrial centrifugal pump,evaluating three distinct operational scenarios:motor-rigid coupling-pump at full load,motor-magnetic coupling(100%air gap)-pump at full load,and motor-magnetic coupling(60%air gap)-pump in energy-saving mode.The results suggest the following four outcomes:There isn't new emergent characteristic frequencies in the low-frequency spectrum when employing magnetic couplings;The magnetic coupling at 100%air gap significantly attenuates rotational-frequency vibration transmission from the motor to the pump;Broadband vibration reduction occurs across all frequencies at 60%air gap during energy-saving operation;A moderate increase in motor foot vibration was observed with magnetic coupling implementation.关键词
