Abstract

The analysis of the flow pattern and acidizing stimulation effect for horizontal well with liner completion was conducted,discussing the impact of perforation/slotting density on the flow pattern and its regulatory effect on acid absorption in the reservoir.The study shows that the influence of perforation/slotting density on fluid absorption is mainly concentrated at the heel of the well,with the total acid absorption increasing as the density increases.In heterogeneous reservoirs,the larger the injection pressure difference,the more pronounced the regulatory effect of changing perforation/slotting density on acid absorption.Under similar flow areas(around 1 000 mm2/m):com-pared to the slotting mode,the unit acid absorption in the perforation mode increased by 4.35 m3/(d·m);com-pared to the full perforation scheme,the variance in acid absorption distribution decreased when using the com-bined perforation-slotting liner mode,resulting in a more uniform acid absorption profile along the horizontal well section.Field application verification has demonstrated that adjusting the holes/slots of the variable-density combined liner can effectively control the acid absorption of the reservoir and enhance the effectiveness of acid stimulation.
