Abstract

This paper systematically elaborates on methods for identifying natural fractures based on microseismic signal characteristics,demonstrating the technology's three core values in fracturing operations:enabling early-warnings of casing deformation through the monitoring of natural fracture activation;supporting the analysis of inter-well fracture interference(frac-hit);and guiding dynamic operational adjustments.A coupled GRA-FAHP(Grey Relational Analysis-Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process)model was constructed,integrating microseismic monitoring data,reservoir property parameters,and operational dynamic parameters to establish a comprehensive evaluation system for assessing reservoir enhancement effectiveness.Taking seven horizontal wells in Block A of the Southern Sichuan Basin as an example for reservoir stimulation,the predicted results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.89 with Estimated Ultimate Recovery(EUR)of post-fracturing gas wells,thereby validating the reliability of the evalu-ation method.The study identifies technical bottlenecks in current microseismic ground monitoring,including limit-ed depth positioning accuracy,significant attenuation of deep signals during transmission,and challenges in signal identification.Recommendations include enhancing dynamic monitoring capability for natural fractures around wells,improving the recognition of deep signals,and establishing a multi parameter integrated fracturing safety warning system to provide technical assurance for efficient development of deep shale gas.
