不同粗粒掺量红黏土的力学性能研究及数值模拟
The influence of different coarse-grained dosages on the mechanical properties of red clay and simulation verification

Abstract
Owing to its high water content,large porosity ratio and other unfavorable physical properties,natural red clay is prone to inducing uneven foundation settlement,thereby posing risks to buildings and construction safety.Therefore,it is necessary to improve its physical and mechanical properties by adding different amounts of quartz sand.To study the influence of different coarse-grain contents on the mechanical properties of red clay and determine the optimal coarse-grain content,quartz sand with a particle size of 0.250 to 0.500 mm was selected as the coarse-grained material,and it was remolded and mixed with red clay with a particle size of less than 0.075 mm in different proportions.Based on this,a consolidated-drained triaxial test was carried out using photogrammetry technology to systematically analyze the influence of different coarse-grain contents on the mechanical properties of red clay.At the same time,numerical simulations were performed using ABAQUS finite-element software to further verify the reliability of the experimental results.The research results show that,with the increase of the coarse-grain content,the liquid limit,plastic limit and plasticity index of sand-mixed red clay decrease significantly,while the maximum dry density increases and the optimal moisture content decreases.The axial and radial deformations,deviatoric stress,and internal friction angle of sand-mixed red clay are negatively correlated with the coarse-grain content,while the cohesion is positively correlated with the coarse-grain content.The shear strength reaches its maximum value when the coarse-grain content is 20%.The simulation of the triaxial test by ABAQUS finite-element software shows that the results are consistent with the trend of the experimental data,verifying the accuracy and reliability of the research results.The red clay improved by adding quartz sand has significant changes in mechanical properties,and its shear strength is obviously enhanced.The research results provide a theoretical foundation and technical support for the application of sand-mixed red clay in foundation and subgrade engineering.关键词
