Ignition experiment of effervescent atomizer injector in combustion heater

Abstract
In order to broaden the working range of the combustion heater,an injector based on effervescent atomizer was designed.The ignition tests of the injector in an air-liquid oxygen-alcohol combustion heater were carried out under the conditions of alcohol flow rate of 84-144 g/s,gas-liquid ratio of 0-20%and atomizer outlet diameter of 1.5 mm,2.0 mm and 2.5 mm,respectively.The effects of gas-liquid ratio of effervescent atomizer and injection pressure drop on the combustion performance of the combustion heater were studied.The results show that the standard deviation of combustor pressure at the gas-liquid ratio of 10%is 33%,60%and 59%lower than that at the gas-liquid ratio of 0 under the conditions of 106 g/s,125 g/s and 144 g/s alcohol flow rates.When the alcohol flow rate is 84 g/s,with the increase of gas-liquid ratio,the heater goes from ignition failure to unstable combustion and stable combustion.It shows that proper gas-liquid ratio is helpful to improve the atomization effect of alcohol,and then improve the ignition performance and combustion stability of the heater.With the decrease of injection pressure drop in effervescent atomized injector,the standard deviation of combustion chamber pressure decreases,and the combustion stability of heater increases.关键词
