摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the effects of quercetin on the growth performance,slaughter performance,meat quality,and nutrient composition of Rutin chickens,a total of 200 healthy 40-day-old Rutin chickens with similar body weights(approximately 43 g)were selected for the experiment.They were randomly divided into 4 groups(group Ⅰ,group Ⅱ,group Ⅲ,and group Ⅳ),with 5 replicates in each group and 10 chickens in each replicate.Quercetin was added to basal diet at concentrations of 0,200,400,and 600 mg/kg respectively.The pre-test period was 7 days,and the formal test period was 37 days.At the end of the experiment,the indicators of growth performance,slaughter performance,meat quality,and nutrient composition of Rutin chickens were measured.The results showed that the final weight of group Ⅳ was significantly higher than that of other groups(P<0.05);the weight gain and average daily gain were significantly higher than those of group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ(P<0.05),and extremely significantly higher than those of group Ⅰ(P<0.01).The dressing percentage of groups Ⅱ,Ⅲ,and Ⅳ was significantly higher than that of group Ⅰ(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the semi-eviscerated rate,fully eviscerated rate,breast muscle rate,and leg muscle rate among all groups(P>0.05),but group Ⅱ had the highest dressing percentage,semi-eviscerated rate,fully eviscerated rate,and leg muscle rate;the crude ash content of group Ⅳ was significantly higher than that of other groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the contents of moisture,crude protein,and crude fat among all groups(P>0.05);and there was no significant difference in pH value,drip loss rate,cooking loss rate,and cooked meat rate among all groups(P>0.05).It indicated that adding quercetin to the diet could effectively promote the growth of rutin chickens and improve the dressing percentage,and adding 600 mg/kg could significantly increase the crude ash content.
