From Complexity Science to Artificial Intelligence Revelation of the 2024 Nobel Prize
摘要
Abstract
The interdisciplinary awarding of the Nobel Prize in 2024 marks a historic shift in the paradigm of scientific cognition.The Physics Prize is awarded to the founders of neural network theory,the Chemistry Prize focuses on AI driven breakthroughs in life sciences,and the Physiology and Economics Prizes both point to the study of complex systems.This article reveals the bidirectional empowerment mechanism between com-plexity science and artificial intelligence by analyzing the deep correlation between Nobel Prize achievements:on one hand,physical models and statistical mechanics provide theoretical foundations for AI;On the other hand,deep learning is reshaping the pattern of scientific discovery.The melting of disciplinary boundaries not only promotes the reconstruction of knowledge systems,but also paves new paths toward addressing major challenges facing humanity.关键词
