The Dilemma and Breakthrough of Elderly Care Supply in Community Elderly Care Service Institutions:An Analysis Dimension Based on Subjectivity and Dependence

Abstract
With the accelerated growth of population aging and the demand for home-based community elderly care services,community elderly care service institutions have emerged as one of the primary forces among social entities participating in elderly care service provision,providing robust support for home-based elderly care,but their growth is generally in the initial stage.This study employs a multiple-case research method,selects four community elderly care service institutions in City S as research subjects,and relies on the Empowerment Theory and Resource Dependency Theory to build a dual-dimensional analytical framework of"Agency-Dependency",categorizing them into four types:task-driven,resource-dependent,pioneering,and mature.The study revealed that the interaction between community elderly care service institutions and grassroots governments shaped their practical logic,which is selective service,service resource transfer,bad money drives out good,and brand chain operation.In the dynamic resource dependence relationship,the community elderly care service institutions are generally faced with the development dilemma of weak subjectivity and strong dependence,and empowering them is the key factor to promote the dynamic balance between subjectivity and dependence.The optimization path of service supply focuses on the power structure,aiming to break the deadlock of lack of power,ambiguity of power,and imbalance of power to consolidate and exert the subjectivity of community elderly care service institutions and promote their sustainable development by empowering,balancing,and clarifying power.关键词
