Effects of different dietary patterns on lipid metabolism in obesity:a perspective based on gut microbiota

Abstract
Obesity,as a metabolic disorder,can induce inflammation and insulin resistance,leading to various chronic diseases.The prevalence of obesity in China has been rising annually,posing a substantial societal burden.Dysbiosis of gut microbiota is commonly observed in obese individuals,and gut microbiota is closely linked to host lipid metabolism.Different dietary patterns exert distinct influences on gut microbiota,thereby affecting the development and progression of obesity,which highlights the potential of microbiotatargeted dietary interventions for obesity management.This review outlines the characteristics and metabolic mechanisms of gut microbiota in obesity and further summarizes how three representative dietary patterns—the Mediterranean diet(MD),ketogenic diet(KD),and highfiber diet(HFD)—modulate lipid metabolism through the gut microbiota.The aim is to provide evidence and references for dietary interventions in obesity.关键词
