Research on the Coupling and Coordinated Development of New Urbanization and Rural Revitalization:Based on Data from 59 Counties in Anhui Province

Abstract
This paper develops a comprehensive evaluation index system for new urbanization and rural revitalization at the county level in Anhui Province using the entropy-critic method,coupling coordination degree model,center of gravity migration model,standard deviation ellipse method,and obstacle degree model.Based on the viewpoint of urban-rural integration,this study analyzes the coupling and coordinated development level,spatiotemporal differentiation characteristics,and obstacle factors of 59 county-level units in Anhui Province from 2015 to 2021.The findings indicate that:(1)The levels of new urbanization,rural regen-eration development,and the coupling and coordination between them have all improved across the counties in the province,with central Anhui exhibiting the highest development level.(2)Throughout the study period,the growth rate of coupling coordination lev-el in western and northern counties of Anhui Province was greater than that in eastern and southern counties,and there was a trend of narrowing geographical disparity in coupling coordination level.(3)Industrial prosperity,rural civilization,and an affluent lifestyle are the key obstacles impacting coupling and coordination;these areas should be prioritized for increased capital expenditure in fu-ture construction and development.关键词
