摘要

Abstract

To address the safety risks of existing buildings during secondary earthquakes,this study proposed an improved analytical approach to quantify the relationship between crack fractal characteristics and cumulative damage in prefabricated new-type fly ash foamed concrete structures.By integrating digital image correlation technology and two-dimensional fractal dimension theory,a computational method for three-dimensional fractal dimension was developed.A functional relationship between the apparent crack fractal characteristics and cumulative damage of prefabricated new-type fly ash foamed concrete structures was established using both two-dimensional and three-dimensional fractal dimensions.Furthermore,finite element analysis was conducted to examine the correlation between crack fractal dimension and cumulative damage under different porosity conditions by ABAQUS.The derived relationship was validated through its application to prefabricated new-type fly ash foamed concrete wall components.The results demonstrate that three-dimensional fractal dimension provides a 9.8%improvement of the statistical accuracy of crack characterization compared with two-dimensional fractal dimension.The relationship between crack distribution and cumulative damage in prefabricated new-type fly ash foamed concrete structures is characterized by a quadratic function.Using three-dimensional fractal dimension improves the fitting accuracy of structural cumulative damage calculation by 15.9%compared to using two-dimensional fractal dimension,and this quadratic relationship remains applicable to structures with openings.The functional relationship between apparent crack fractal dimension and cumulative damage is valid for fly ash foamed concrete walls.
