Responses of Licorice Seed Pests to Host Plant Patch Quality and Patch Pattern in Desert Area in Ningxia
摘要
Abstract
Licorice seed pests included Bruchophagus glycyrrhizae Niikolskaya.and Bruchidius ptilinoides Faharaeus.,damage rate of licorice seed pests is as high as over 40%,which has become one of the important bottleneck of licorice planting industry. In order to explore the influence of landscape factors on licorice seed pests, taking the desert landscape in mid-eastern Ningxia as the background,13 patches of three habitat types, namely artificial sand-fixing secondary forest land, mobile aeolian sandy land and sandy loam hilly land, were selected,to study the responses of licorice seed pests to the patch quality, patch area and spatial pattern of host plants. The results showed that the damage rates of licorice seed pests varied significantly in three different habitats. At the habitat level, the damage rate of licorice seed pests was closely related to the density of leguminous plants. At the small-scale level of the patch,it was significantly positively correlated with the coverage of other plants, and the relationship consigned to Y=6.762 356 21+0.310 340 865 95×X6.The pest damage rate of licorice seeds was not significantly affected by habitat fragmentation and the reduction of patch area. There was no obvious correlation with the ratio of the inner edge of the patch and the patch connection index, but it was significantly negatively correlated with the patch shape index, with a correlation coefficient of 0.689 4.It shows that licorice seed pests are affected by host density on a large scale and shelter landscape factors such as other plant coverage and patch shape on a small scale.关键词
