球磨处理对天然碱性矿物微观结构及镉吸附性能的影响
Effects of ball milling treatment on the microstructure and cadmium adsorption properties of natural alkaline minerals

Abstract
To enhance the adsorption capacity of natural alkaline minerals for Cd(Ⅱ),dry ball milling was used to develop adsorbent materials.The effects of different ball milling speeds(BM1:300 r·min-1,BM2:450 r·min-1,BM3:600 r·min-1,BM4:750 r·min-1)on the microstructure of natural alkaline minerals and the adsorption capacity of Cd(Ⅱ)were investigated systematically by utilizing a variety of characterization techniques.The adsorption behavior and mechanism of Cd(Ⅱ)adsorption by alkaline minerals with different ball milling treatments were investigated by varying the condition parameters such as pH,Cd(Ⅱ)solution concentration,adsorption time and coexisting ions.The results showed that increasing the rotational speed of ball milling could increase the specific surface area and improve the pore structure of the natural alkaline mineral materials.The electronegativity of the surface of the materials was enhanced by increasing the rotational speed of ball milling.The best adsorption performance of cadmium on ball milling material(BM3)was achieved under the condition of 600 r·min-1,and the adsorption amount was up to 37.27 mg·g-1,which is 18.18 times of that of the natural alkaline minerals in original state.The ball milling treatment resulted in a large number of π-π*on the surface of the material,which can form Cd(Ⅱ)-π bonds.Meanwhile,high-energy ball milling can refine the material particles.With the increase of rotational speed,the ratio of calcium to magnesium atoms on the surface of the material increased,which was conducive to the enhancement of the ion-exchange capacity between cadmium and calcium and magnesium ions.BM3 not only exhibited excellent cadmium adsorption capacity over a wide range of pH variations,but also still maintained a good removal rate of Cd(Ⅱ),when Mg2+、Cl-and SO42-were present,which suggested that the ball milling treatment had a good application prospect in improving the adsorption performance of natural alkaline minerals.关键词
