The Game Between"Political Expediency"and"Intelligence Truth":A Study of the U.S.Director's Initiatives Group

Abstract
[Purpose]The"Director of National Intelligence Initiative Group"was officially established in the United States on April 8,2025.By studying its functions and impact,we can gain insights into the future direction of U.S.intelligence agencies and provide infor-mational support for the strategic competition between China and the United States.[Method]This study employs literature review and open-source intelligence(OSINT)methods to analyze the functions,establishment background,and other factors related to the"Director of National Intelligence Initiative Group",thereby forecasting its future development trends.[Result/Conclusion]The establishment of the"Director of National Intelligence Initiative Group"has introduced new ripples into the somewhat rigid U.S.intelligence system,and its series of measures have indeed had a positive impact on the U.S.intelligence framework.However,looking ahead,whether it will be-come a behind-the-scenes force for the Trump administration to infiltrate intelligence agencies—prioritizing politics over intelligence accu-racy—or a critical step in reforming the U.S.intelligence system,remains to be seen.关键词
