摘要

Abstract

Banana Fusarium wilt is the most significant disease threatening the global banana industry.Currently,there are no effective chemical agents for its prevention and control;therefore,breeding disease-resistant varieties is the most effective means to mitigate the threat of wilt disease.The callus of'Han 11'was used as the starting material,and 60Co-γ radiation was used for mutagenesis.The effects of the radiation status of explants,rough toxin concentration of Foc TR4(Fusarium ox-ysporum sp.cubense tropical race 4),and the duration of crude toxin treatment on the selection process of the'Han 11'germ-plasm were investigated.Moreover,the mortality rates and differentiation rates during the callus stage,the proliferation coef-ficient during the aseptic shoot proliferation stage,and the growth status during the nursery stage were observed.The aim of this study was to establish an efficient germplasm selection system for treating banana wilt disease resistance and to obtain new disease-resistant germplasms.The results indicated that using'Han 11'callus tissue as the explant and conducting resis-tance tests against Foc TR4 crude toxin during the callus,aseptic shoot proliferation,and tissue-cultured bottle seedling stages can increase the selection efficiency of individual plants resistant to wilt disease.This study provides methods and theoretical foundations for the selection of banana germplasms resistant to wilt disease,provides technical references for efficient banana mutagenesis,and supplies materials for future breeding of superior varieties.
