Effects of Different Cultivation Patterns on the Growth and Quality of Ficus hirta Vahl

Abstract
To clarify the effects of different cultivation patterns on the growth and quality of Ficus hirta Vahl and provide guidance for its efficient production,this study used seedlings and cuttings of F.hirta as experimental materials.Black nutrient bags and white nonwoven bags were selected as cultivation containers,while loess and mixed soil(1/2 loess+1/2 nutrient soil)were used as growing media.The growth characteristics,active component contents,mineral element contents,and amino acid contents of F.hirta under different cultivation patterns were compared.The results revealed that:(1)there was no significant difference(p>0.05)in the growth characteristics(stem diameter,stem height,number of leaves,longest root length,thickest root diameter,aboveground biomass,and underground biomass)of F.hirta among the different cultivation patterns.In general,both cuttings and seedlings presented better growth characteristics when they were planted in white nonwoven bags with loess as the growing medium.(2)Cuttings planted in white nonwoven bags with mixed soil as the growing medium or seedlings planted in white nonwoven bags with loess as the growing medium were conducive to the accumulation of active components of F.hirta.(3)Different cultivation patterns had different effects on the mineral element content of F.hirta;however,the amino acid content of seedlings planted in white nonwoven bags with mixed soil as the growing medium was extremely sig-nificantly greater(p<0.01)than that of F.hirta under other cultivation patterns.In conclusion,seedlings or cuttings of F.hirta can be selected according to actual conditions and needs,white nonwoven bags are recommended as cultivation containers,and either mixed soil or loess can be used as the growing medium.This study guides the efficient production of F.hirta.关键词
