Evaluation of Soil Fertility Status Under Different Grain and Cash Crop Rotation Modes in Farmlands of Dehong,Yunnan

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of comprehensive soil fertility under different grain and cash crop rotation modes in Dehong,Yunnan Province,in recent years,and to provide a reference for farmland soil im-provement and the promotion of high-yield and high-efficiency grain and cash crop rotation modes in Dehong.In 2022,17 fields were selected as sampling units to collect soil samples from farmlands in Dehong under seven grain and cash crop rota-tion modes.Indicators,including pH value,available potassium(K),available phosphorus(P),alkali-hydrolysable nitrogen(N),organic matter(OM),available zinc(Zn),total N,total P,total K,and cation exchange capacity(CEC)were determined.With reference to the standard Diagnosis and Evaluation of Soil Fertility of Cultivated Land in Southern China,rational statis-tical methods for sampling number,descriptive statistical analysis,and correlation analysis were used to evaluate the single nutrient status and comprehensive fertility of the soil.The results revealed the following:(1)Statistical analysis of the ration-ality of the number of samples indicated that the soil fertility evaluation,which was based on 17 samples,met the accuracy requirement of 20%relative error at the 90%confidence level.(2)The soil pH was neutral.For the seven rotation modes,the contents of alkali-hydroly soluble N,OM,available Zn,and CEC were lower than the"recommended reference standard val-ues for main physicochemical indicators of soil fertility evaluation in southern China".However,the contents of available P,available K,total N,total P,and total K were higher than the aforementioned standard values.(3)The comprehensive soil fertility index(P-comprehensive)of all seven rotation modes was Grade II(0.9≤P-comprehensive<1.7),among which the"flue-cured tobacco‒rice‒corn"rotation mode had the highest comprehensive fertility of the soil.In conclusion,farmlands in Dehong,Yunnan can implement balanced fertilization according to the abundance or deficiency of single nutrients under dif-ferent rotation modes,thereby improving the soil structure and enhancing the comprehensive fertility.关键词
