Abstract
To investigate the clinical protective effect of Bao Wei Jun® WSP against necrotic enteritis in breeders.Six-week-old Ross 308 breeders were used in the trial.The experimental group comprised a total of 17,418 breeders,and the control group consisted of 17,399 breeders.The test period was 56 days.The breeders in the experimental group were fed with Bao Wei Jun® WSP for 21 days.The feeding dose was 1 pack/house/day during the first 7 days,and then was 0.5 pack/house/day during the next 7 days.After one week discontinuing the use of Bao Wei Jun® WSP,the breeders in the experimental group were fed with a feeding dose of 0.5 pack/house/day for 7 days.During the experiment,abnormal feces ratio,enteritis incidence rate,mortality rate of breeders were statistically analyzed.After the experimental group of breeding chickens were fed with Bao Wei Jun® WSP,there was no significant difference in the abnormal feces ratio compared with the control group.However,during enteritis outbreaks,the breeders in the experimental group showed significantly lower mortality rate of breeders compared to controls.Bao Wei Jun® WSP is able to effectively prevent the occurrence of necrotizing enteritis in breeder flocks.关键词
