Abstract
Traditional clothing conservation techniques embody the creative wisdom of ancient Homo sapiens.To address issues such as the inheritance gap and contextual limitations of traditional clothing conservation techniques,this study aims to provide referenceable transformation strategies for their innovative development and application.Through literature review,this research clarifies the concept,characteristics,and evolution of traditional clothing conservation techniques,and establishes a cultural eco-system encompassing both intrinsic ontology and extrinsic environmental aspects using Broussonetia papyrifera.Taking the width-cloth skirt as a case study,it extracts its ontological features and modernity translation strategies,while validating technical feasibility through CLO 3D virtual display technology.Results demonstrate that modernized translation designs for width-cloth skirts align with sustainable principles while preserving the cultural essence and practical functions of traditional clothing conservation techniques,offering novel insights and approaches for the innovative development and application of related traditional clothing craftsmanship.关键词
