EMOTIONAL MEMORY AND TRANSLATIONAL DESIGN OF JADE CRACKS
摘要
Abstract
Jade culture has long symbolized values such as auspiciousness,virtue,wealth,power,and longevity.Why does jade have to be"perfect"?This study focuses on the cracks in jade,systematically analyzing their causes,characteristics,and classification,and explores the design and treatment methods for such cracks.It proposes a new design concept.Different from traditional restoration techniques,it advocates manifesting the cracks to showcase the natural characteristics and artistic value of jade,thus endowing the cracks in jade with new aesthetic significance.Through specific practical cases,the cracks are transformed into design languages,making them unique artistic elements in the works.The research results indicate that the cracks in jade can not only serve as structural decorative elements of jewelry but also carry the emotions and cultural memories of the creators.This study aims to promote the diversified application of jade materials and provide support for the modern transformation and innovation of traditional jade design.关键词
