DESIGN TRANSLATION STUDY OF NON-HERITAGE GREY SCULPTURES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF CULTURAL HIERARCHY

Abstract
Based on the theory of cultural hierarchy,to construct a trinity of modelling-functional-emotional innovative framework for the translation of non-heritage grey plastic design.The article focuses on the extraction of modelling genes of traditional craftsmanship of grey moulding from the material culture layer,and realizes the modernization and translation of pattern symbols through parametric modelling,material compositing and other digital technologies;reconstructs the functional semantics of grey moulding in contemporary architecture from the social culture layer,and establishes a dialogue mechanism between craftsmanship traditions and modern life;and digs into the auspicious narrative system of grey moulding from the spiritual culture layer,and transforms cultural imagery into field narratives to strengthen emotional resonance by applying the metaphorical design techniques.Using metaphorical design techniques to transform cultural imagery into field narratives to strengthen emotional resonance.Translation of grey sculpture design in the perspective of cultural hierarchy should follow the progressive path of digital regeneration of craft genes-adaptive reconstruction of functional context-experiential revitalisation of cultural symbols,so as to expand the application dimension of non-heritage grey sculpture in contemporary design context while retaining the recognition of regional culture.关键词
