Regulatory Effects of Plant Extracts on Fatty Acid Metabolism in Ruminants
摘要
Abstract
Plant extracts are widely used as a new type of feed additives in the livestock and poultry indus-try.Numerous studies have reported their effects on rumen fermentation,modulation of microbial community structure,and improvement of immune and antioxidant functions in ruminants.This review,based on the preliminary research findings of our research group and recent publications,focuses on the regulatory effects of plant extracts on rumen and systemic fatty acid metabolism in ruminants.The aim is to provide research ideas and theoretical support for the use of plant extracts to modulate fatty acid metabolism and meat quality in ruminants.关键词
