摘要

Abstract

The rapid development of the livestock industry has given rise to an increasingly acute problem of feed resource shortage.Tea meal,as a by-product of oil extraction from oil camellia seed,is rich in proteins,contains abundant protein,carbohydrate,fats,and various bioactive substances.However,because it con-tains anti-nutritional factors such as tea saponin and tannin,its feeding value needs to be improved by a detoxification process.In this paper,the nutritional composition,detoxification technology and application effect of tea meal in livestock production were systematically reviewed.Physical,chemical and biological detoxification methods could effectively reduce the content of tea saponin(detoxification rate reached more than 72.2%),and the replacement of 15%soybean meal by fermented detoxified tea meal could significantly improve the whole evading rate of broilers and milk yield of dairy cattle.The development of tea meal feed can alleviate the shortage of protein feed,reduce the cost of breeding,and promote the sustainable develop-ment of animal husbandry.In the future,the detoxification process and feed formulation need to be opti-mized to fully exploit their application potential in animal husbandry.
