Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effect of ultrasound-guided continuous fascia iliaca compartment block(cFICB)on hemo-dynamics and sleep quality in elderly patients undergoing hip arthroplasty.Methods:In this randomized controlled study,100 eld-erly patients undergoing hip arthroplasty at Nanjing Luhe People's Hospital from January 2024 to March 2025 were randomized(1∶1)using a random-number table to either routine care(control group)or ultrasound-guided cFICB plus routine care(observa-tion group).The hemodynamics,analgesic effect,sleep quality,postoperative recovery indicators,and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Results:The heart rate(HR),mean arterial pressure(MAP),and visual analog scale(VAS)scores immediately after surgery(T2)and 30 minutes thereafter(T3)were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).On postoperative day 3,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores were significantly lower in the observation group(P＜0.05).The observation group had significantly shorter time to first mobilization and shorter hospital stay,and significantly lower incidence of adverse events compared with control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided cFICB provides effective analgesia,helps maintain hemodynamic stability,improves sleep quality,and it is associated with fewer adverse events,potentially facilitating postoperative recovery in elderly patients undergoing hip arthroplasty.关键词
