Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of phloroglucinol in the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum and its influ-ence on sleep.Methods:Ninety women with hyperemesis gravidarum treated from May 2023 to May 2025 were randomly assigned(random number table)to a control group or an intervention group(n=45 each).The control group received standard supportive care,including fluid replacement to correct dehydration and maintain water-electrolyte balance.The intervention group received adjunctive phloroglucinol in addition to standard supportive care.All patients were treated for 5 days.Outcomes included sleep quality(Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,PSQI)score,total effective rate,and symptom scores.Results:After treatment,the PSQI scores and symptom scores(vomiting,nausea and retching)in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the decreases in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(97.78％vs 80.00％,x2=7.443,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Phloroglucinol demonstrates favorable clinical efficacy in hyperemesis gravidarum,improving both sleep quality and clinical symptoms.关键词
