Effects of compound enzyme preparation on production performance,digestive performance,apparent digestibility of nutrients,immune,and antioxidant indexes in finishing cattle

Abstract
This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of compound enzyme preparation on the growth performance,digestive performance,apparent digestibility of nutrients,economic benefit,immune,and antioxidant indexes in finishing cattle.A total of 78 healthy Simmental crossbred cattle with an initial body weight of(250±10)kg were randomly divided into three groups,with 26 replicates per group and one cattle per replicate.The control group was fed a basal diet,while the experimental groups received the basal diet supplemented with 10 g/(head·d)(group M1)and 5 g/(head·d)(group M2)of compound enzyme preparation,respectively.The pre-test period was seven days,and the formal test period was 84 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,the average daily gain(ADG)of group M1 was significantly increased(P<0.05).The apparent digestibility of crude protein(CP),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),and acid detergent fiber(ADF)were significantly improved in the experimental groups(P<0.05),with group M1 showing significantly higher apparent digestibility of CP and NDF than group M2(P<0.05).On the 84th day,serum immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin A(IgA)levels,and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)were significantly elevated in experimental groups(P<0.05),while malondialdehyde(MDA)content was significantly reduced(P<0.05).The profits of groups M1 and M2 increased by 29.5%and 9.4%respectively compared to the control group.The study shows that dietary supplementation with compound enzyme preparation can effectively enhance growth performance,digestive performance,apparent digestibility of nutrients,economic returns,immune,and antioxidant capacity in finishing cattle,with the 10 g/(head·d)supplementation level yielding superior outcomes.关键词
