Advances in Research on the Correlation Between Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Physique Doctrine and Modern Immune Regulation Mechanisms in Paediatric Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infections
摘要
Abstract
Recurrent respiratory tract infections(RRTIs)are prevalent pediatric diseases with high morbidity and risk of se-rious complications, significantly impacting children's health.Modern medicine posits that RRTIs are closely related to immune imbalance;however, therapeutic options are limited. The Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)constitution theory, based on the principle of"treatment according to constitution differentiation,"emphasizes the influence of constitutional differences on disease susceptibility and prognosis.Recent studies have indicated a significant correlation between TCM constitution types and immune regulation mechanisms. This paper systematically reviews the application of TCM constitution theory in RRTIs,research progress in modern immune regulation mechanisms, and the synergistic effects of both in pathological mechanisms and treatment strate-gies.Studies have shown that TCM interventions can modulate the immune system multi-targetedly,thereby reducing the recur-rence of infections. Moreover, integrated TCM and Western medicine strategies combine the advantages of"anti-infection"and"strengthening the body's resistance"significantly improving therapeutic efficacy. This paper systematically explores the associa-tion between TCM constitution and immune mechanisms, providing a theoretical basis and practical direction for the individual-ized prevention and treatment of RRTIs.关键词
