Treatment of Stable Angina Pectoris Complicated with Insomnia Based on Theory of"Spleen Disease,Obstructed Meridians"

Abstract
Currently,cardiovascular diseases have become a key focus in the field of global public health.Among patients with cardiovascular diseases,the proportion of those with insomnia is higher than that of the general population.Studies show that about 37％of angina patients suffer from moderate to severe insomnia,and the combination of these two conditions cause signifi-cant psychological stress burden on patients,with a high incidence of emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression.At the same time,the patients' daily activity ability is limited,which greatly damages the patients' quality of life.The phrase"spleen dis-ease,obstructed meridians"originates from Huangdi Neijing,which posits that"if spleen fails to transport and transform,Qi and blood will be deficient,the meridians will not be full,losing their nourishment,which also can be due to excessive consumption of rich foods,leading to spleen dysfunction,internal phlegm and turbidity,Qi stagnation,and poor blood circulation,with phlegm and blood stasis obstructing the meridians,resulting in meridian obstruction".Traditional Chinese medicine holds that that tonifying spleen Qi can promote the circulation of Qi and blood,preventing pathological products such as phlegm dampness and blood stasis from obstructing the meridians.This article explored the impact of spleen dysfunction on angina combined with insomnia based on the theory of"spleen disease,obstructed meridians"and its possible mechanisms,and investigated methods to tonify spleen Qi,open the meridians and calm the mind to improve the condition,aiming to provide new ideas for the treatment of stable angina combined with insomnia using traditional Chinese medicine.关键词
