Abstract

This study aimed to identify new peanut varieties with high quality,high yield,and multi-resistance suitable for the ecolog-ical and climatic conditions of Yibin,Sichuan Province,in order to address issues such as aging cultivars,severe diseases,and low yield of the main local varieties.In 2024,a field experiment combined with laboratory analysis was conducted to compare and analyze the agronomic traits,yield,disease resistance,and quality of 18 newly self-bred peanut lines(including the control Tianfu 22).The re-sults indicated that the average pod yields of Yi24-2,Yi24-6,Yi24-7,Yi24-9,Yi24-11,Yi24-12,Yi24-14,and Yi24-18 were relatively high,reaching 5 265.30,4 451.85,4 436.85,4 751.85,4 810.20,4 488.60,4 588.50 and 4 482.30 kg·hm-2,respectively.These represented yield increases of 16.6%,1.3%,1.0%,7.5%,8.7%,2.1%,4.2%,and 2.02%compared with the control Tianfu 22.In terms of disease resistance,Yi24-3,Yi24-9,and Yi24-12 showed high resistance to leaf spot,while Yi24-1,Yi24-2,Yi24-4,Yi24-6,Yi24-7,Yi24-8,Yi24-10,and Yi24-13 exhibited moderate resistance.High resistance to rust was observed in Yi24-3,Yi24-4,Yi24-6,Yi24-10,Yi24-12,and Yi24-18,whereas Yi24-1,Yi24-2,Yi24-7,Yi24-9,Yi24-13,and Yi24-15 showed moderate resistance.Regarding quality,Yi24-7 and Yi24-12 had high oil contents of 57.55%and 56.26%,respectively.Yi24-10 was identified as a high-protein line,with a protein content of 29.1%.The soluble sugar contents of Yi24-3,Yi24-6,Yi24-9,and Yi24-18 were relatively high,at 6.14,9.88,6.02 and 6.34 g·100 g-1,respectively,making them suitable for fresh consumption.In conclusion,considering yield,disease resistance,and quality traits together,Yi24-2,Yi24-6,Yi24-7,Yi24-9,and Yi24-12 demon-strated superior performance and are suitable for planting in Yibin and similar ecological regions.
