Construction achievements of"Gas Daqing"in the Sichuan Basin and development strategies for a natural gas productivity base with a capacity of 100 billion cubic meters

Abstract
In the context of global energy structure's accelerated transition to low-carbonization,natural gas,as a key transitional energy source between traditional fossil energy and new energy,has increasingly prominent strategic positions and roles.In recent years,China has been continuously making efforts in the fields of natural gas exploration and development,and has achieved remarkable results in increasing reserves and production of high-quality natural gas on a large scale.And especially the Sichuan Basin,based on its abundant natural gas resource endowment characteristics and well-developed natural gas development technologies,has become a core area undertaking national natural gas strategies.In this paper,the natural gas distribution characteristics in the Sichuan Basin are reviewed systematically,the construction history and experience of"Gas Daqing"are sumarized,and accordingly the development strategies for a natural gas productivity base of over 100 billion cubic meters are proposed.The following result are obtained.First,in the Sichuan Basin,there are two sedimentary systems,i.e.,the Sinian to Middle Triassic marine strata and the Upper Triassic to Eocene continental strata.a total of 32 sets of oil and gas layers have been discovered,with an"orderly accumulation"of three types of conventional natural gas and two types of unconventional natural gas.Second,the construction of"Gas Daqing"has achieved a stable increase in natural gas production,while promoting a series of innovations in geological theoretical understanding and exploration and development technologies.Third,there are abundant oil and gas resources in the Sichuan Basin.In the process of constructing the mentioned natural gas productivity base,it is necessary to carry out technological breakthrough in stages while providing policy guarantee.The construction this natural gas productivity base in the Sichuan Basin is predicted to be completed in 2035.In conclusion,natural gas development in the Sichuan Basin will advance to nano-scale shale gas reservoirs and 10,000-m deep conventional gas reservoirs,and in combination with 100 years of gas field development,will assist the achievement of carbon neutrality goal,providing solid resource and technical guarantee for national energy security.关键词
