四川盆地油气资源特征与天然气高质量上产展望
Characteristics of oil and gas resources in the Sichuan Basin and prospects for high-quality gas production growth

Abstract
In recent years,a series of progress and breakthroughs has been achieved in oil and gas exploration in the Sichuan Basin,triggering a fundamental change in the resource structure.A comprehensive evaluation of oil and gas resources is urgently needed to provide a basis for accelerating natural gas reserves and production growth and enhancing the guarantee capacity of oil and gas production.This study reviews the oil and gas exploration and development history and achievements in the Sichuan Basin,analyzes the resource formation conditions,potential scale and distribution,and clarifies the key priorities and directions of future operations.These results indicate that the Sichuan Basin is rich in oil and gas resources.the total natural gas resources amount to 90.41 ×1012 m3(with unconventional gas acounting for 70.2%)and the total petroleum resources amount to 22.22×108 t(shale oil in majority,acounting for 94%).It has fully embraced a new resource sequence pattern characterized by integration of conventional and unconventional resources,simultaneous development of marine and continental resources,and mutual promotion of oil and gas resources.The future exploration should focus on four gas targets,i.e.deep-ultradeep carbonate rocks(with undiscovered resources of 15×1012 m3),marine shale gas(with major layer series contributing over 80%of China's total shale gas production),continental tight sandstone gas,and new plays or layer series in hydrocarbon accumulation across petroleum systems,and on Jurassic shale oil in eastern,northern and central Sichuan Basin,striving to achieve a coordinated development of oil and gas.Furthermore,research on key geological theories such as integration of conventional and unconventional resources and three-dimensional hydrocarbon accumulation across petroleum systems should be strengthened to support the accurate evaluation of deep-ultradeep conventional gas,shale oil/gas,and other resource potential,and more efforts should be taken to achieve technical breakthroughs with respect to high-resolution thin reservoir prediction and safe ultradeep well drilling for improving the development efficiency and economic benefits.It is concluded that scientifically understanding the resource pattern and accurately identifying exploration directions can not only help realize the continuous,high-quality growth of natural gas production in the Sichuan Basin,but also provide a core support for China's energy security,technological independence,and green transformation,making it a veritable"national strategic energy hub".关键词
