Abstract
In the process of natural gas exploitation,storage and transportation,the composition of natural gas produced from different gas wells varies significantly.If unevenly mixed natural gas is directly fed into a gas purification plant,the feed gas composition received by various processing trains may be different,causing some units'feed gas deviate from the design specifications.This deviation can reduce the processing capacity or cause various degrees of operational incompatibility,and may even result in rejection by the purification plant if the gas quality exceeds design limits.In engineering practice,natural gas from different sources is typically mixed in a common manifold before being separately sent to different purification plants.However,due to production reductions or shutdowns from some wells,the previously uniform mixture in the manifold can become uneven again,leading to rejection due to exceeding the standards of the downstream purification plant.This paper addresses these issues using engineering design optimization and efficient static mixers.Using computational fluid dynamics software simulation method,manifold design and static mixer design technologies are investigated.Parameters such as size,angle,thickness,length and spacing of static mixer mixing elements are adjusted and simulated to design a static mixer with high efficiency,low pressure drop and suitability for gas gathering systems.This technology provides reliable technical support for the full mixing of natural gas from multiple sources.关键词
