摘要

Abstract

The preparation of gelatin-based hydrogel supercapacitors not only facilitates the high-value utilization of gelatin but also contributes to the eco-friendly performance improve-ment of supercapacitors.However,the mechanical properties of gelatin-based hydrogels are usually weak,and the methods to improve their mechanical properties by increasing the mo-lecular interactions often lead to a decrease in the water content of gelatin-based hydrogels,thus reducing their ionic conductivity.In this study,the mechanical properties,conductivity,application performance in supercapacitors of two acrylic acid copolymer-gelatin hydrogels with significantly different methyl contents were compared.The results showed that high methyl content can enhance the intermolecular interactions in the chain dense regions of the hydrogel.At same water content,it can ensure the rich water ion channels in the chain loose regions,thus achieving a high mechanical strength and low water content while maintaining a high ionic conductivity of the hydrogels.The supercapacitors prepared from the hydrogel also have a higher specific capacitance and more ideal capacitive characteristics.This study pro-vides a certain reference for the design of high-strength and tough gelatin-based supercapaci-tors.
