Abstract

With the continuous deepening of the application of virtual digital human technology in higher education,its impact on the psychological state of university teachers is becoming increasingly prominent,especially likely to cause technological anxiety and affect teaching and career development.Therefore,based on the conservation of resources theory,this paper took teachers from 12 universities in Shaanxi Province as samples to construct and verify the measurement models of virtual digital human cognition,technological anxiety,mutual trust and competitive atmosphere,and examine the heterogeneity of the moderating effect through multi-group comparative analysis,aiming to explore the impact of virtual digital human cognition on technological anxiety among university teachers and analyze the moderating role of mutual trust and the competitive atmosphere.The research found that virtual digital human cognition had a significant positive impact on technological anxiety among university teachers.Meanwhile,mutual trust played a significant negative moderating role between virtual digital human cognition and technological anxiety,and a high level of trust can alleviate anxiety.The moderating effect of competitive atmosphere was not significant,which may be due to the mild competitive environment in universities in Shaanxi province and the fact that the application of virtual digital human technology was still in its initial stage.Teachers of humanities and social sciences and those without administrative positions had higher levels of technical anxiety.Through research,this paper expanded the explanatory framework of teachers'technical anxiety in the context of virtual digital human technology from the perspective of resources,and provided empirical evidence for universities to promote the effective application of virtual digital human technology by improving the trust mechanism and technical support system.
