Party building leading the development of hematology:the collaborative synergy between party con-struction and clinical practice

Abstract
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes prioritizing people's health in national development and calls for deepening public hospital reforms oriented toward public welfare.As the primary bat-tlefield for medical talent cultivation,public affiliated hospitals must adhere to Party leadership to fully leverage its guiding role in talent development,disciplinary advancement,and healthcare education reform.By strengthening the integration of basic and clinical medicine,these hospitals can better serve the"Healthy China"initiative.Taking the hematology discipline-a flagship specialty of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University-as an example,this study explores how Party building institutional advantages enhance ideological and practical leadership over departmental operations.Through the model of"establishing Party branches within academic disciplines",the hospital has optimized grassroots Party organization structures.Focusing on the coor-dinated Party-building efforts between the hospital and the national key discipline of Hematology,this paper analyzes the current state of Party-hospital integration in affiliated hospitals,proposes feasible pathways for collaborative models,and highlights a-chievements in integrating Party building with professional development.Key strategies include cultivating leadership teams,refi-ning Party member capabilities,fostering a"comprehensive ideological-political education"framework,and accelerating high-quality development in public hospitals.关键词
