Research Progress in Composite Scintillators With Inorganic Nanoparticles
摘要
Abstract
Radiation detection,especially pulse radiation imaging,creates an urgent demand for scintillators with rapid response,high efficiency,large size,and complex shapes.However,scintillators simultaneously possessing all these properties are difficult to obtain.Nanocomposite plastic scintillators,fabricated by incorporating high-Z inorganic components,represent a promising new direction to address this challenge.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background of nanocomposite plastic scintillators.Secondly,three kinds of nano-composite plastic scintillators are summarized,and their advantages and disadvantages are introduced.Finally,the future of nanocomposite plastic scintillators is prospected.关键词
