摘要

Abstract

To achieve single-particle measurement of low intensity pulsed X/γ rays produced by bremsstrahlung of high-energy electron beams in space,a front-end electronics system for full-channel readout of SiPM array detectors is developed based on near-saturation amplification discrimination method and traditional time over threshold(TOT)techniques.By using low-bandwidth operational amplifier and differential output discriminator,this system acquires comprehensive physical information,including energy,timing and intensity.Subsequently,valid pulsed X/γ-ray events are identified within the FPGA of the back-end digital circuitry through pulse width and timestamp coincidence.This paper introduces the design scheme,performance test and physical verification of front-end electronics system,obtaining the pulse width-energy spectrum and time-intensity spectrum within the low-energy range(50-200 keV).The measurement results show that the pulse width is positively correlated with energy in low-energy region,and picking out the effective signal by pulse width coincidence.The near-saturation amplification improves the timing accuracy,which can reach 800 ps after correction.
