草莓白粉病抗性机理与育种策略研究进展
Research advances in resistance mechanisms and breeding strategies of strawberry powdery mildew

Abstract
Powdery mildew,caused by the obligate parasitic fungus Podosphaera aphanis,ranks among the most destructive diseases in straw-berry production.It infects plants under both greenhouse and open-field conditions,blocking leaf stomata,reducing photosynthetic efficiency,lowering fruit sugar-acid ratios and appearance quality,decreasing yield per unit area,and imposing significant economic losses.While chemi-cal control provides short-term suppression,long-term use drives pathogen resistance,causes excessive pesticide residues,and burdens the en-vironment,limiting its sustainability.Thus,breeding and deploying resistant varieties is the most cost-effective,efficient,and eco-friendly strategy for managing powdery mildew.This review addresses key scientific questions in strawberry powdery mildew resistance breeding.It sys-tematically synthesizes the biological traits and pathogenic mechanisms of P.aphanis,summarizes the genetic basis of resistance and resistance formation mechanisms in strawberry,and critically evaluates advances in traditional breeding and modern molecular technologies,including re-sistant germplasm excavation/identification,marker-assisted selection(MAS),genetic engineering,and genome editing,for disease resistance breeding.Targeted future directions are proposed:In-depth mining of wild germplasm resistance,multi-omics-integrated screening,broad-spectrum resistance gene discovery,and synergistic improvement of resistance and fruit quality.This work aims to provide a systematic refer-ence for theoretical innovation and technological breakthroughs in strawberry resistance breeding.关键词
