Abstract

To address the safety hazards caused by static electricity accumulation during the use of medi-cal protective clothing and the performance conflicts when antistatic agents and water repellents are used in the same bath,polypropylene non-woven fabric,a commonly used base material for medical protective cloth-ing,were took as the object to explore the application effect of antistatic agent TF-481G.The antistatic perfor-mance of the material was tested by the resistivity method.Combined with hydrostatic pressure test,alcohol resistance test and cytotoxicity detection,the influence of the dosage of penetrant and antistatic agent on the finishing effect was systematically analyzed,and the performance was compared with that of the nonionic anti-static agent TF-480AA and the cationic antistatic agent SN-2.The results showed that when the dosage of penetrant TF-W291A was 2-3 g/L and the dosage of antistatic agent TF-481G was 4 g/L,the surface resistiv-ity of polypropylene non-woven fabric drops to 3.5×107 Ω,and the antistatic effect was excellent.The in vitro cytotoxicity grade of polypropylene non-woven fabric treated with antistatic agent was level 0.When used in the same bath with water repellent,the hydrostatic pressure of the treated fabric was maintained above 50 cmH2O,and the alcohol resistance performance reached level 8 or above.Antistatic agent TF-481G could ef-fectively enhance the antistatic capacity of medical protective clothing while ensuring its core performance of"three resistances and one resistance",and it had high biological safety,thus having a promising application prospect.
